April 29th, 2008

New Graphite Finish Modernizes Collections While Offering Consumers a Timeless Design

CHICAGO (April 10, 2008) – Inspired from industrial loft aesthetics and professional kitchen design trends, Amerock is introducing its Industrial Chic line of retro-inspired kitchen hardware at the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show and Conference (K/BIS) in Chicago. The Industrial Chic line features masculine and authentic hardware within the Rochdale™ and Westerly™ collections. Amerock will be showcasing its premium cabinet hardware along with a comprehensive line of bath hardware at booth S4028 at McCormick Place.

“For the past 75 years, Amerock has created cabinet hardware based on popular industry design trends,” said Cindy Obiecunas, Amerock product manager. “The new Industrial Chic line of kitchen hardware incorporates both urban loft aesthetics found in major cities and professional kitchen design trends of industry experts. In addition, the Rochdale and Westerly collections are available in the new Graphite finish, completing the modern, industrial look of

the line.”

Inspired by the functional forms of industrial lighting, furniture and faucets, Amerock is embracing professional kitchen design trends with its Rochdale and Westerly 34-piece line of cabinet hardware. The Rochdale collection features rivets and masculine designs on each piece creating an industrial look. The Westerly collection features sleek, modern lines with a more substantial feel. Created as an extension of Amerock’s popular Kane & Crosley collections launched at K/BIS 2007, both collections are available in the Satin Nickel finish and the new Graphite finish offering consumers the ability to coordinate hardware and appliances throughout

the home.

The Rochdale and Westerly collections both feature a variety of pulls, ranging from 3 inches to 18 inches, with the 12-inch and 18-inch sizes designed for use with appliances, large drawers and doors. The Rochdale collection also includes cup pulls in 3-inch and 96-millimeter sizes and a knob, while the Westerly collection includes two knobs. The knobs and pulls range in price from $4 to $6 and appliance pulls range in price from $70 to $125, depending on size. Both collections within the Industrial Chic line carry the Amerock Guardian® Lifetime Guarantee.
